Biography

Born and raised in Seattle, attorney Troy Courage has a profound connection to the Puget Sound region and the entire state of Washington.Troy’s academic journey was marked by excellence and a thirst for knowledge. He proudly graduated cum laude from Seattle University, where he pursued a major in liberal studies and earned two minors in psychology and French. His passion for the French language and culture led him to Grenoble, France, where he immersed himself in a transformative French program during his senior year.

Following his time in school, Troy embarked on a rewarding career in sales. However, his innate desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives led him to the field of law. Troy pursued this calling and successfully graduated from law school. It was during this pivotal period that Troy discovered his true purpose when he volunteered with the King County Bar Association’s Family Law Mentorship program. This experience opened his eyes to the profound impact he could have by practicing family law.

Since becoming a licensed attorney, Troy Courage has passionately served numerous clients across the spectrum of family law. His expertise extends to handling intricate property division cases that involve multiple properties scattered throughout the state of Washington. Troy’s extensive experience has seen him collaborate with a wide array of professionals, including Real Estate Professionals, Real Estate Appraisers, Certified Professional Accountants, Certified Divorce Financial Analysts, Psychologists, and Social Workers, all working together to secure fair and equitable outcomes for his clients.

In his free time Mr. Courage enjoys reading, exercise, studying French, and watching movies.
