Strategic Approach, Optimistic Outcomes In Family Law
Biography
Having navigated her own journey through hardship, adversity, and profound loss, Anna Linden is a tenacious litigator who stands firmly against bullies. She understands that her clients often face some of the toughest challenges in their lives and is dedicated to empowering them to achieve their goals through vigorous representation, whether at the negotiating table or in court. Anna's passion for family law stems from her desire to help others.
A native of Seattle, Anna got her first job, serving food at a local residential care facility, while attending Ingraham High School. After high school, she attended Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, where she organized fundraisers for the Wounded Warrior Project and food drives for local elementary schools. Anna graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, along with minors in Biology and Environmental Studies.
Continuing her education at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, Anna started her family law journey by volunteering at St. Andrew Legal Clinic and The Commons Law Center—both nonprofit organizations dedicated to family law. Her commitment to pro bono work earned her the Pro Bono Challenge Award from the Oregon Supreme Court, recognizing her as the student with the highest number of pro bono hours. Additionally, Anna served on the editorial board of the Animal Law Review, represented her school in a regional mock trial competition, and worked as a research assistant for the Dean of Diversity and Inclusion. She also directed an auction that funded numerous summer internships for students in nonprofit fields. Anna graduated cum laude from Lewis & Clark and passed the bar exam the same year, scoring in the top 1% of national applicants.
After law school, Anna headed north to Alaska, where she served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Earl A. Peterson of the Fairbanks Superior Court. During her time in Alaska, she encountered a variety of cases, including felony trials, complex civil litigation, and contested family law matters. After completing her clerkship, Anna returned to Seattle to begin her legal career.
Since her return, Anna has focused primarily on family law. Her personal experiences and diverse background enable her to bring unique perspectives to each case, crafting creative solutions tailored to her clients’ individual needs. Before joining Envision Family Law, she served as the Litigation Lead at her previous firm.
