Families are all different. At Envision Family Law, we understand that your family’s needs and goals are unique. Our [Seattle divorce lawyers](https://www.envisionfamilylaw.com/seattle-wa/divorce-lawyer/) are dedicated to helping you protect and grow your family in a way that works best for you. We are launching the “My Unique Family” scholarship to celebrate the diversity of family structures.

To participate, create a two- to three-minute video in which you describe what makes your family unique. Your family could be defined by its traditions, culture, values, challenges, or the way you support each other. There is no right or wrong answer, just your personal story.

This scholarship celebrates the many ways families grow, love, and overcome obstacles together. Apply by March 15, 2027, for your chance to win $2,500. We look forward to hearing about what makes your family special!

## Who is Eligible?

The legal team with Envision Family Law invites undergraduate and graduate students at accredited United States trade schools, colleges, universities, and graduate schools to apply for the “My Unique Family” scholarship.

Students should agree to the scholarship’s terms and conditions before moving forward with their scholarship videos. Applicants must also submit all of the necessary application materials to qualify for the “My Unique Family” scholarship.

## How to Apply

If you want to apply for the “My Unique Family” scholarship, verify that you qualify for the scholarship, then please complete a video between two and three minutes addressing the scholarship topic below. You should upload your video to YouTube as an unlisted video, then include a link to that video along with the form on this page.

## Scholarship Video Topic

Your family has unique traditions, values, and challenges that you’ve overcome as you’ve grown older. Please create a video between two and three minutes describing the aspects that make your family unique. Our team wants to explore your personal story.

Please record your video in a well-lit area and include your full name, as well as the name of the “My Unique Family” scholarship, at the start of your video. The team with Envision Family Law wants to celebrate your unique identity, so please do not use AI to generate your script or video.

You can use editing software like Adobe Creative Cloud to improve the quality of your video, but the scholarship selection committee, including Jason Benjamin, will not weigh the quality of a video’s editing when selecting a scholarship winner.

## Application Deadline

You have until March 15, 2027, to complete and submit your video essay for consideration. Unfortunately, the scholarship selection committee cannot consider applications submitted after this deadline passes. Likewise, we cannot consider applications that do not meet the aforementioned criteria.

The team reserves up to three months after the scholarship deadline passes to choose the recipient of the “My Unique Family” scholarship.

Please do not contact Envision Family Law during the deliberation process. The team cannot answer emails, calls, or other forms of communication from students or parents asking questions about the scholarship selection process.

The scholarship selection committee with Envision Family Law, including Jason Benjamin, wants to celebrate a student whose thoughtful presentation of their family’s unique challenges embodies the nature of modern family life.

Once the scholarship selection committee chooses its winner, a firm representative will reach out to that winning student and ensure that their winnings reach the academic institution of their choosing. Unfortunately, the firm cannot reach out to non-winning students.
