Kim’s family law career began during and after law school under the tutelage of renowned Pierce County family law attorney Diana Lynn Kiesel. This lasted over a decade until Diana Lynn Kiesel was appointed to the Pierce County Superior Court Bench as a Court Commissioner. Prior to joining Envision Family Law Group, Kim was a successful solo practitioner in Pierce County.
Kim has earned an exemplary reputation with the Pierce County Judges and Commissioners as well as a venerable opponent by her colleagues. Due to Kim’s reputation and her frequent appearances in court, the Court knows that when Kim is arguing, it can trust that her facts are concrete and her position is well thought out. This hard-earned reputation combined with her experience and rational positions is the reason she is very successful in the courtroom.
Kim received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in 1996 and graduated from Seattle University School of Law, cum laude in 1999. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Washington and the United States District Court. Kim is a member of the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association, TPCBA Family Law Section and served as a board member from 2001 to 2005.
When she is not dedicating her time to her practice, she is planning excursions with her son and traveling the United States.
